Date Night Comedy presented by Storm Breakers is a “date night” dinner and show for 110 couples, wrapped up by an exciting auction!
This event is designed to bring awareness of Storm Breakers’ mission: to promote mental health within the Christian Community. We do this in three ways: Biblical Counseling, Literature, and Public Outreaches and Events, such as this one.
We believe that one of the most overlooked components of the Church today is mental health, and its effect on every component of our lives. Statistics are showing 1 in 5 US citizens are being diagnosed with a mental illness. And this is no different in the Body of Christ.
Storm Breakers aims to offer free mental health services to those who historically have been unable to afford counseling that aligns with their faith but is not covered by insurance. Our 2025 goal is to provide biblically-based counseling services to 1,000 individuals at no cost to them.
Freely we have received, and now, freely we have the honor of giving.
We are looking to partner with like minded organizations and individuals in our fight to Silence the Storm of mental turmoil, just like Jesus silenced the storm in Mark 4:39. Your ticket purchase and any other donations help make that possible.
